Our origin story is unique, fascinating and entirely serendipitous!

Before founding Blue Aura, our founder was managing another creative agency. Although the agency boasted an incredible portfolio of high-profile clients and projects, she soon realised that she had questions regarding the legitimacy of the agency....

After working at the agency for a matter of weeks, she and a few members of her team put on their detective hats and began digging (they even started referring to themselves as 'The Sleuths'). They uncovered unlawful conduct of the owners on multiple levels: they had fabricated staff members (including the agency founder), fabricated clients, misrepresented work as their own, and not paid staff.

The extent of what they uncovered was shocking, so shocking in fact, that there is a documentary currently being made about their experience!

Once they uncovered the unlawful conduct, our founder decided three things: she needed to get out immediately, alert the clients, staff and authorities to the facts, as well as ensure that her hard work would not go to waste. She asked herself - why should my career have to suffer for the misdeeds of others? Why put in all this time and effort building an agency for it to go to waste?

It was at that moment our founder decided to strike out on our own and turn this experience into a positive one by driving forwards with a new agency: an agency, which is true to its values, inspires its clients and honours its staff. An agency that takes pride in being authentic and imaginative, and is rooted in human connection.

And so, Blue Aura was born.
